A.P.C. stands for a timeless and sophisticated design

Jean Touitou founded the brand in 1987 in Paris. He got the idea after his luggage was lost on a trip and he had to buy new clothes. He struggled to find quality raw denim jeans at a good price. So it's no surprise that the first A.P.C. collection consisted mainly of men's jeans. The name A.P.C., by the way, did not exist until two years later. The first collection was simply called "Hiver 87" (Winter 87). The return to the essentials is an important part of the brand DNA and is also emphasised by the simple name. Then as now the designer attached importance to simple products that are suitable for everyday use and yet elegant. He remains true to this line with the A.P.C. bags: they are classic and casual at the same time and convince especially with first-class materials and high-quality workmanship.
