The most popular models for individual travels include weekend bags, travel duffle bags and luggage with backpack straps. Typical features include compression straps, practical ¾ opening, elastic cross-straps and several internal compartments. Because the travel bag has no fixed frame despite the wheels, it weighs less than a trolley of equal size. Some models are reinforced at the corners and at the telescopic handle. They are a little heavier, but much more robust. Some travel bags with wheels have a flap with a hook and loop or zip fastener for the retractable telescopic handle. Multifunctional travel bags have in addition to wheels and pull-out handle also retractable shoulder straps and thus allow several carrying options. Sporty models have backpack straps that are held together at the front by the hook-and-loop fastener with padding.
