    Eastpak combines style and durability like no other brand. The US-American label is primarily a backpack manufacturer: more than 40 years have passed since the debut model Eastpak padded pak'r conquered the hearts of bag fans in a flash. Backpacks are the focus of Eastpak till today: the reliable everyday companions are “Built to Resist” and convince with trendy designs and wide colour range. In the 1980s Eastpak introduced colourful all-over-prints: to this day all collections include many prints and colour variations so that there is always a perfect model for every taste.

    Eastpak backpacks

    The label focuses not only an attractive design but also on excellent workmanship. Sophisticated technical features come as standard. Every Eastpak backpack impresses with comfortable two-way zippers, good organization and a padded carrying system. Depending on the design, other practical details such as a pocket for valuables, compression straps or bottle, key and light holders are also part of the layout. Most Eastpak backpacks are equipped with a front zipped pocket, like the Eastpak provider backpack. Some backpacks feature a height-adjustable roll top closure and attachment loops. Eastpak also offers hybrid models with stowable straps, i.e. with bag function. Most of these are spacious travel variants. Besides backpacks made of synthetic materials such as polyester, Eastpak also provides models made of natural materials such as leather or wool. Classic Eastpak backpacks have the typical U-shaped form: but the range also includes other formats.     Eastpak reinterprets classic reporter bags and gives them a fashionable update. They have only the vertical oblong format in common with the typical designs, and stand out with a wide selection of materials and prints. The compact models also include fanny packs: the brand offers leather versions, among others. Eastpak bags in the form of a tote provide much more storage space. They feature reinforced carrying handles and a well-planned layout. Laptop bags also have a practical interior. These Eastpak bags are equipped with a name-giving laptop compartment in addition to many other interior sections. The standard repertoire includes an adjustable shoulder strap with padding and a trolley flap. Speaking of trolleys: The softside Eastpak luggage features a lockable telescopic handle and two fixed wheels as standard. Classic features such as compression straps, bottom and back reinforcements as well as room dividers and cross straps are also typical for every Eastpak trolley. Some models are equipped with a TSA security lock. Among the novelties under Eastpak luggage are trolleys with a hard case. Regardless of materials, the Eastpak trolleys provide up to 120 litres of volume. Compact travel bags with two carrying handles and removable shoulder strap are a good option for short trips.

    From military outfitter to a lifestyle brand – Eastpak

    The renowned label has its roots in a Boston company called Eastern Canvas Products, which manufactured duffel bags and backpacks for military use starting in 1952. The year 1976 marks the birth of Eastpak: since then, the US brand offers backpacks and bags for everyday use. With the further extension of the product range, luggage and accessories were added. Eastpak has always remained true to its claim of offering durable and robust products. The famous logo with the globe stands for long-lasting, hard-wearing and practical backpacks and bags. Eastpak achieved its cult status not only through outstanding quality but also through many collaborations with famous artists and designers.
