    AIGNER: German brand with an Italian flair

    Etienne AIGNER, the founder of the label, presented his first bag collection in New York in 1950. Fifteen years later, AIGNER was founded in Munich. In 1974 the first Etienne AIGNER Racing Days took place, which were of a charitable character and soon became popular among the Munich society. The famous AIGNER logo in the form of a horseshoe also goes back to this event. The competition was characterized by an elegant and sophisticated atmosphere, which is still present in AIGNER bags, backpacks and wallets until today. The Munich label represents excellent craftsmanship, which is generally associated with Italian manufacturers. The Italian reference is also highlighted by the brand's typical Chianti red: The dark Bordeaux red relates to the Tuscan wine of the same name, which is still a synonym for the Italian wine.
