The reinterpretations of the iconic Lady Butterfly bag captivate with the characteristic detail of the stirrup buckle and are made in Italy. The different sizes of the Borbonese 110 Medium or Small are perfect everyday companions of Italian elegance.

An unmistakable feature of the Borbonese design is the famous OP pattern. The so-called Occhio-di-Pernice texture (Engl.: eye of the partridge) has been a Borbonese trademark since the 1960s and is still used on the iconic bags today and contrasted with new trend-conscious elements. The Borbonese pattern is embossed on the back of Entrefino goatskin using special processing and dyeing techniques, creating a classic two-tone appearance and velvety feel. Today, the classic leather print meets trendy micro and macro bags or shimmering metallic details.

Selected partnerships allow Borbonese to experiment with new production materials as well as recycling processes to ensure a fully traceable, high-quality supply chain. A major milestone is set in 2020 with the first line made of 100% recycled PET nylon. With the autumn/winter 2021 collection, Borbonese has reached the 60% sustainable production level. Since 2022, packaging has been fully recycled and the materials used for future collections will not only be recycled but also recyclable. Regarding sustainable leather, Borbonese is developing a long-term project in collaboration with La Granda, a consortium of sustainable Italian growers, to control and trace leather throughout the supply chain. Borbonese works with new materials and new techniques to ensure the highest possible quality while respecting the environment.
