    Cycling backpacks with special features

    Sports bikes for racing and mountain biking do not have a carrier, so the backpacks are always carried on the back. For cyclists who regularly conquer the steepest trails, a bike backpack with back protector is therefore recommended - it protects the spine from injury in case of possible falls. The correct seat is particularly important here: for optimum effect, the bike backpack with back protector must not slip during the ride. Models with built-in back protectors replace special protective vests and trump with a lot of storage space for all the necessary equipment. In addition, the best bike backpacks for off-road riding are equipped with wide hip fins to prevent the backpack from sliding forward on steep downhills. The so-called transalp rucksacks are also equipped with special features: these spacious models with a volume of 35 litres and more have a compartment for wet clothes and an emergency whistle. Extra slim-cut backpacks are available for racing cyclists. Minimalist X- and V-shaped backpacks cannot hold much more than one drinking bladder and are appropriately labelled "hydration packs".
